Wholesome Hedgehog grew initially from a desire to share the benefits of a yoga practice with young people, largely inspired by the
curiosity
of my own children in my yoga practice and my wish to help equip them with
lifelong skills
to help them navigate the world.
The more I practice and discover, the more curious I am to explore and continue to learn. To now have the opportunity to share this with others and to encourage their own exploration is a real joy. I have an enthusiasm for
science and nature
and love to incorporate elements of these into my classes, whether that's a nod to the current season or an exploration of a movement pattern to celebrate our unique
anatomy!
I often offer sessions with space to play and explore, as well as and time to pause and be. My practice is varied and training encompasses both active and restorative styles of yoga, alongside the grounding, soothing and sensory practices of Special Yoga and specialist trainings in children's and teen yoga.
Sessions with me are centred on yoga to support living well, creating balance, and feeling the most "you" you can. I hope to support others to find sustainability in their yoga practice, so that it feels authentic and nourishing to who they are.
