Wholesome Hedgehog grew initially from a desire to share the benefits of a yoga practice with young people, largely inspired by the
curiosity
of my own children in my yoga practice and my wish to help equip them with
lifelong skills
to help them navigate the world.
The more I practice, discover and learn, the more curious I am to explore. I'm an eternal student, willingly and eagerly. Learning is something I love, it's a source of joy and inspiration to me and having the opportunity to translate that into sharing with others is a privilege. I have an enthusiasm for
science and nature
and love to incorporate elements of these into my classes, whether that's a nod to the current season or an exploration of a movement pattern to celebrate our unique
anatomy!
Although you won't find its own page on the website for 'yoga for adults' at the current time, I love to offer sessions with space to play and explore and time to just be. Please check the bookings page and keep an eye on social media (@wholehogyoga) for anything coming up soon, or drop me an email for 1:1s or if you have something specific in mind. My practice is varied and training encompasses Ashtanga Vinyasa, mobility, Restorative and Yin yoga, alongside the grounding, soothing and sensory practices of Special Yoga and specialist trainings in children's and teen yoga.
The sessions I offer are centred on sharing yoga to support wellbeing, balance and vitality, whether that's with children, adults, in nurseries, education or in the community, in groups or on a one-to-one basis. I hope to support others to find sustainability in their practice, encouraging listening to their own mental, physical and emotional needs so that their yoga practice feels authentic and nourishing.
